Reynolds’ beefy All Mountain wheels are stiff enough to carve corners and off-cambers well with conventional DT Swiss Revolution spokes. Axle switching is easy, but the wheels are only 20mm internally, which restricts bigger tyres. Reynolds bearings need watching in really wet weather too

 They’re well priced for carbon rimmed rollers, but they’re not light. The thick-walled, centre seamed rims have survived several rock strikes without any damage or deviation. Add rim strips and they’re tubeless compatible too.

They’re not as stiff as the best carbon rims and not any lighter than alloy wheels that feel very similar on the bike, while they’re cheap for carbon
